A hostel, a bed & breakfast, or a hotel?

Many people ask us which category Sandanzas belongs to. It is a bit difficult to explain but we will try:

Half of our capacity is private rooms and the other half is shared rooms. Normally hostels are completely shared rooms and bed & breakfasts or fancy hotels do not have shared rooms at all.
We have room for 28 people whereas a B&B generally doesn't even reach 20 and a hostel does not have less than 40.
By having a smaller number of spaces we get to know our guests by name and we try to help them satisfy their curiosity just as in a bed & breakfast or fancy hotel.
We prioritize the common areas, sociability, and the relaxed and friendly treatment as in a hostel.
Our prices are closer to those of hostels than those of B&Bs or hotels.
Our shared bathrooms are individual like in any house, we have a shower for every 6 guests and a bathroom for each room and each room has a bathroom next to it.
You can use our kitchen just like at a hostel.
Towels and sheets are free, just as at a Bed & Breakfast or hotel.
Shared rooms are large with 4 to 6 beds whereas at a hostel the norm is 8 to 10 beds per room.
Our breakfast competes with that of a 4 star hotel!
And most importantly, we treat you as if you were an old friend from some trip we went on who is coming to visit our Buenos Aires and Argentina.
