Sandanzas is a warm and complete hostel located in San Telmo, the heart of Buenos Aires. The house was envisioned as a meeting place for local cultural expression and the people of the neighborhood or barrio. A space for you to enjoy and participate in.
Sandanzas is the project of a group of young travelers, artists, and studiers of Latin American culture who, like you, travel our América. Because of this, here you will always find help and information to prepare your trip and enjoy your stay.
Is Sandanzas a hostel, bed & breakfast, or a hotel? Click here you will find out...
Our maximum capacity is 28 people, ideal for people travelling alone, couples, or small groups, who are looking for exchanges of experiences, to be known and called by name, and that have many curiosities in need of satisfying.
We are waiting for you!
San Danza (Holy Dance) is the name of a painting that we like very much, painted by Xul Solar, a fantastic Argentine painter from the mid 20th century.
In addition, as a painter and traveler, Xul Solar, invented games, two artificial languages: neocriollo and panlengua, and he loved puppets and music.
And the word Sandanzas mixes the words dances (danzas) and adventures (andanzas), words which reflect the spirit of many of the guests we receive: that of travelling and dancing.
And just as we reinvent languages in order to communicate, we like games, puppets, music, art and travel...
More information at the Museum of Xul Solar and if you wish to see the painting San Danza.
